I am creatively sparked by the old, broken and unusable and reimagining into something beautiful and meaningful.
What I do ….
I love to re-imagine, redesign and recreate! On a “picking” day I can be found sharing a cup of tea with gentleman farmers and wandering around their rust pile down a paddock somewhere. I seem to be use the somewhat and they often ask me what I want “that” for, to which I reply “I don’t know yet” with a grin.
I also have a lifelong love affair with fallen timber, both in its natural form and as milled timber, in any form really.
In recent years I have been playing with copper, utilizing the reclaimed wire to make my copper feathers and old hot water systems that I shape, flame paint and plasma cut.
What many deem useless is creative gold for me and I enjoy the challenge of learning new skills to create the ideas I have for the stuff I find. I weld, plasma cut, use both a metal and timber lathe, lead,Iggy and can put a hole in just about anything. I am quite eclectic in my creations, jumping from bespoke lighting to water features, static works and unique home decor. Each piece has its own story and is made with love for the Human Race and Mother Earth.
